These additional terms clarify how PortalMine’s free hosting, coins, server content, backups, moderation, advertising, and enforcement work. They form part of the Terms of Service above.

These Terms explain the rules for using PortalMine, including acceptable use, account responsibilities, and service limitations.

1) Using PortalMine
By accessing or using PortalMine, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
PortalMine provides a dashboard and infrastructure that helps users create and manage Minecraft servers.
2) Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your email address up to date.
- You must not share or sell accounts, or use accounts for automated abuse.
3) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal content or unlawful activity.
- Abuse platform resources (e.g., excessive automation, attacks, or attempts to disrupt service).
- Host or distribute malware, phishing, or harmful content.
- Harass, threaten, or encourage violence toward others.
- Attempt to access accounts or systems you do not have permission to access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4) Free tier & limitations
The free tier is intended for small, friendly servers. To keep the service stable, we may enforce fair-use limits such as:
- Resource caps (CPU/RAM/storage/network)
- Limits on concurrent players or heavy plugins/mods
- Anti-abuse rate limits (e.g., account creation, API calls)
We may change limits over time and will aim to communicate major changes clearly.
5) Availability, maintenance, and changes
We aim to keep the service available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Maintenance and incidents may occur.
We publish updates on the Status page when possible.
6) User content and server responsibility
You are responsible for the content and activities on your servers, including compliance with applicable laws and community rules.
If you host public communities, consider adding moderation and clear rules to reduce harassment and abuse.
7) Intellectual property
PortalMine’s website, branding, and software are owned by PortalMine or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
Minecraft is a product of Mojang Studios. PortalMine is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
8) Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the service during the relevant period.
9) Termination
You may stop using PortalMine at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security and legal compliance.
10) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as our service evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Coins, rewards, and promotions
Coins are limited, revocable platform credits used only for eligible PortalMine actions. They are not money, cryptocurrency, property, a deposit, or a promise of future service. Coins may expire, be adjusted, or be removed when generated through automation, duplicate accounts, location misrepresentation, misleading activity, invalid advertising interactions, technical errors, or policy violations.
Promotional credits may be unavailable during compliance or technical reviews. Users must not use automation, duplicate accounts, or misleading activity to obtain credits.
Server files, backups, and deletion
Users retain responsibility for lawful content they upload or create. PortalMine receives the limited permission needed to store, copy, transmit, process, and back up server files to provide and protect the service. Accounts or servers may be deleted after inactivity, expiration, suspension, technical failure, or service changes. Users should maintain independent backups because restoration is not guaranteed.
Community safety and abuse
Server owners are responsible for moderation, permissions, player behavior, and content hosted through their server. Prohibited activity includes malware, credential theft, unauthorized access, denial-of-service activity, illegal distribution, hate or violent threats, sexual exploitation, harassment, and attempts to evade platform safeguards. Reports may be investigated and information may be preserved or disclosed when legally required.
Advertising and third-party services
PortalMine may display clearly labelled third-party advertising only after the relevant service is approved, enabled, and any required privacy choice has been collected. The current Earn Coins timer is a PortalMine account feature and is not an advertisement; it does not require an ad click, sponsored-page visit, or purchase. Third-party content, availability, privacy practices, and transactions are controlled by those providers, and an advertisement is not PortalMine’s endorsement. Users must not use bots, automated browsing, duplicate accounts, or misleading interactions to generate credits.
Minecraft notice
Minecraft is a trademark and product of Mojang Studios, a Microsoft company. PortalMine is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Users must comply with applicable Minecraft and platform terms.
